As a small contingent of film students from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts was here on the final Saturday afternoon of October, taking shots for storyboarding of an upcoming film that will be partially shot here, I got busy in the kitchen to make a batch of lemon sugar cookies. As they emerged from the oven, I alerted the students that we had a small problem for them to help us with: too many lemon sugar cookies. They were willing to lend a hand.
