Meal No. 3958: Roasted Salmon and Broccoli

Friday a week ago was a chilly autumn day, not enough sunshine, strong breezes, and I was not ready to adjust to that kind of chill after having enjoyed all the good weeks of late summer and early fall. The only major event of the day was the 30,000-mile servicing on the still-new-to-me Toyota Camry, and returning home with it took me first by the cleaners to pick up my dress shirts, and then I was almost at the Trader Joe's. Why not roasted spiced salmon to go with all those broccoli crowns waiting in the fridge? 'Twas a fine supper with much-loved features, before I settled in to finish a book that I did not love.
