It's not exactly what the famous Detroit-style sloppy joe sandwiches might look like, were one to be authentic about it, but the Roediger House versions still manage to satisfy the diners once they land on our plates and are greedily tackled. Mookie was here for a Monday boys' night last week and that's what I felt called to serve up, with a choice of chips and lots of spirited banter as the evening proceeded.
