With the turn of the fall weather into rather a chilly day last Friday, soup was elevated from a want to a need. To satisfy the late afternoon hungers, I made a big pot of broccoli cheese soup, with the novel addition this time of a half block of Dubliner cheese. I'd like to have had a better sharpness to the cheesy element, but it was all still quite good.
